Amherst County, Virginia

 

There are three publicly owned industrial parks in Amherst County with available sites.

 

The Amelon Commerce Centeris located in the southern part of the county on Rte 130, a four lane, limited access connector to Rte 29 two miles to the east. Present occupants are England Stove Works and Old Dominion Shoes.

 

The Brockman Business & Industrial Parkis located on Rte 60 just east of Rte 29 in the Town of Amherst. Present occupants are Fairmont Crossing Health and Rehabilitation Center and Mutual Telecom Services.

 

The Zane Snead Industrial Park is located at the intersection of Rte 29 and Rte 29 Business on the north side of the Town of Amherst. Present occupants are Glad Manufacturing, Buffalo Air Handling, Hermle Black Forest Clocks, and Verizon. One 18.62 parcel remains available, owned by Hermle and listed by them for sale.
