Registering to Vote in Virginia

Who can register to vote?
  1. You must be a citizen of the United States of America
  2. You must be a resident of Virginia
  3. You must be at least 18 years of age by the next general election
  4. If you have been convicted of a felony, your voting rights must be restored and you must provide proof of restoration
  5. You must NOT BE currently judged by a Circuit Court to be mentally incompetent
How do I register to vote?

Registering to vote is a uniform procedure statewide. You must complete a Virginia Voter Registration Application or a National Voter Registration Application. Forms are accepted in person or by mail. You may:
